“I choose my treatments based on what is going to work as well as what is going to be safe for my patients. My ultimate goal is to make you feel better!”
I love working as a naturopathic doctor because I have the freedom to use either conventional therapies such as pharmaceuticals or alternatives therapies like nutrition, herbs, acupuncture or physical medicine in order to treat my patients. I personally don’t practice with a preference for using conventional or alternative therapies but rather choose my treatments based on what is going to work as well as what is going to be safe for my patients. My ultimate goal is to make you feel better!
I received my training in naturopathic medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine after graduating with a bachelor of science from the University of British Columbia. Coming from a science and research background, I strongly believe in using evidence-based medicine and laboratory testing to guide my treatments.
I practice as a primary care physician but I also have an expertise in digestive health, thyroid health, and weight loss. When I’m not at the clinic, I teach physiology and pathology to naturopathic students at the Boucher Institute. It’s a pleasure to be able to give back to the profession that I feel so passionate about!
