I opened the doors of A New Leaf Naturopathic in 2005 with an excitement for two things: starting a new season of life with my own practice and the opportunity to help patients turn over a new leaf in their own journey of health.

As one of the first graduates of Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, I stepped into the world of naturopathy grounded in scientific based medicine and the knowledge to treat my patients with the best options available. As a child, I was treated by Naturopathic doctors, and my passion for sciences throughout my education made Naturopathic Medicine the obvious choice for my career.

I love the freedom I have as a naturopath to use conventional medicine in tandem with nutrition, acupuncture, pharmaceuticals and herbal remedies. My reputation as a doctor is rooted in my treatment of endocrinology (hormones) and digestive health, which often go hand in hand, and I am known for my expertise in pain control using injectional therapy and acupuncture. I greatly value the patient relationships that I have developed, and the transformation of health and the growth of families I have witnessed in over a decade of practice.

As a busy mother of two, involved with my son’s school and sports teams and a toddler who keeps me on my toes, I am driven by the chance to channel the two avenues of medicine and family to help me become a better doctor and set an example for my patients. I fervently believe that optimal health requires balance, and I promote a lifestyle to my patients which encourages them to take their health seriously while still living their lives to the fullest. This means I treat my patients as individuals and respect realistic parameters. I would describe my method of patient care as casual, and informative. I love having the opportunity to sit down and educate my patients, one on one and watch both their confidence and wellness progress.

I have credentials in the following institutions and am currently taking my Masters in Metabolic Nutrition with a focus in Endocrinology (hormones)
