On Monday, April 15, the restaurant debuted the Beyond Burger patty, offering vegetarian and vegan customers a fully plant-based vehicle for its Triple O sauce, which is, of course, the real star of any burger on the White Spot menu. It tastes like the mayonnaise they serve in heaven. It should be noted that mayo disqualifies the Beyond Burger as vegan. But we digress.
Available at all full-service White Spot restaurants in B.C. and Alberta, the four-ounce, chargrilled veggie patty, made with pea protein, can be added to any burger in place of a beef patty! 🌱 But if you’re the sort that hates to request menu substitutions, the Beyond Burger patty will be featured in the new Avocado Beyond Burger, which also comes topped with fresh avocado, pickled onions, roasted corn, crisp lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, jalapeño ranch and edamame hummus.
