The Benefits of Being Outside on Mental Health

A simple walk in the outdoors can do wonders for our mental health; leaving us calmer, more relaxed, and more focused. Time outside has been studied and proven to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. Contact with nature has restorative properties, increases energy, and improves feelings of vitality and focus. It has been proven to reduce symptoms of ADHD, improve creativity, and restore capacity for concentration and attention. It can also improve sleep quality and help reset our circadian rhythm (by waking up to natural sunlight vs artificial light.) Nature can also help with the grief process by improving self-awareness and positively affecting our moods. Get outside and reap all of these amazing benefits! ☀️🌱🐻🌷🌊
